Our location draws most comment, as it is a very special setting.

Heatherslade is set in private grounds in Southgate and we enjoy uninterrupted views of the cliffs and the sea. The views are something that each of our residents enjoy, as well as spending time in the seating areas around the gardens.

Although a small village, there are many useful amenities in Southgate including tearooms, a Post Office, newsagent, hairdressers, chemist, library and Church. Swansea is just five miles away and we provide regular transportation for residents who request it and the Victorian fishing village of Mumbles a mere two miles distant.
